Video shows Myanmar police officer forcing protester to crawl in street

In eyewitness video sent to multiple news organizations on Friday, a Myanmar police officer is seen forcing a protester to crawl on all fours for an extended period.

A witness who filmed the interaction said that officers later beat the protester.

Myanmar military and police have used increasingly violent tactics to supress demonstrations by supporters of detained elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi in the wake of a military coup.

At least 224 people have been killed in the southeast Asian country during the weeks of unrest.
