On ‘The West Block’ this week Mercedes Stephenson interviews Minister of Defence Harjit Sajjan. He faces questions on what he, and the government, knew about the allegations of inappropriate behaviour against former Chief of Defence Staff General Jonathan Vance. Vance has denied allegations of misconduct.
Mercedes also sits down with the Minister of Public Services and Procurement Anita Anand to get answers on Canada’s vaccine roll-out and procurement contracts. On the government’s response to COVID-19, Conservative health critic Michelle Rempel Garner says, “the Liberals need to succeed, but they need to get their act together quickly.”
