Shows of solidarity with Muslim community in London, Ont. continue as court case resumes Thursday

In London, Ontario, the community is paying tribute to the four victims of an Islamophobic attack: Salman Afzaal, 46; his wife Madiha Salman, 44; their daughter Yumna Afzaal, 15; and Salman’s mother Talat Afzaal, 74.

As Jeff Semple reports, the city is also rallying around the lone survivor, nine-year-old Fayez Afzaal, as new details surface about the prime suspect.

Kamil Karamali spoke with some of the victims’ loved ones, who wish to grieve in private, but say they’ve been touched by the outpouring of support from Canadians.
