A peace agreement has put an end to over a month of bitter conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It calls for Armenians to leave large parts of the long-disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region. That’s provoked outrage in Armenia, where people see themselves betrayed by their government, and by Russia, which oversaw the deal. Those forced from their homes say they are leaving nothing for their enemies.
