Mandatory hotel quarantine, COVID-19 testing now in effect for travellers coming to Canada

New federal rules now require air travellers arriving in Canada to get tested for COVID-19 and quarantine at a government-approved hotel at their own expense. Some passengers complained of long waits to access the hotel-booking system.

Robin Gill explains why there’s still a lack of clarity over the new rules, and why they didn’t apply to one group of passengers on Monday.
