Illinois Expands Medicaid To Low-Income Seniors Regardless Of Immigration Status | NBC News NOW

Illinois is the first state in the nation to offer Medicaid access to low-income seniors, whether they’re legal permanent residents or undocumented. The new policy is expected to impact about 4,600 people who previously didn’t have insurance. NBC News NOW’s Maura Barrett shows us how it’s already changing people’s lives.
