New public health restrictions are coming into force in Newfoundland and Labrador after a second day of a spike in COVID-19 cases, the biggest since the start of the pandemic. Ross Lord reports on what’s fueling the surge just days ahead of a provincial election.
And in North Bay, Ont., public health officials are trying to contain an outbreak of one of the COVID-19 variants. Abigail Bimman has more.
