Coronavirus: President Joe Biden aims to beef up vaccine distribution, testing

U.S. President Joe Biden hit the ground running on his first full day in office by announcing his plans to beef up COVID-19 vaccine distribution and testing in the country.

His plan includes the opening of vaccine distribution sites and requiring international travellers to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test before they can travel to the U.S.

As Jackson Proskow reports, Biden is being blunt with the outlook of the pandemic but says he’s focusing on “science not politics” with his national strategy.
