Coronavirus: Canada marks 1 year of pandemic

The past year has been difficult for so many people, from health-care workers and those who lost jobs, to the families who lost loved ones.

Canada has been through two brutal waves of the pandemic and there is still uncertainty what comes next as the case numbers level off, but the country is still in a different place than we were a year ago.

With vaccines rolling out in a counterattack many are hopeful a sense of normalcy will soon return. Eric Sorensen looks back on one year of the pandemic.
