Chinese rocket core on unpredictable, potentially dangerous return to Earth

One week after China’s Long March 5B rocket launched into orbit, its massive core appears to be falling out of control towards Earth.

The core was ejected as part of the launch and expected to harmlessly fall back to the planet, but according to experts it appears to actually be descending out of control.

As Mike Armstrong explains, it’s unknown when and where the space junk will re-enter and China is being accused of being reckless.
