Beijing Exploded With Anger After Mike Pompeo Supported an Independent Taiwan
BEIJING has hit out at a US official for claiming Taiwan "has not been a part of China" for decades, as relations worsen between the two countries.
China’s foreign ministry responded to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a senior figure in President Donald Trump’s administration, after he backed Taiwan’s independence from Beijing.
